Tasha Lewis: Ebb Tide

Tasha Lewis used embroidery, fabric, and beading to explore classic female mythology and our current climate crisis in her exhibition at PMG. Drawing parallels between the lost culture of Ancient Greece and the possible decline of America’s own cultural relevance, her sculptures and busts created an atmosphere of vulnerability, anxiety, and introspection. "Ebb Tide" revealed the beauty and decay of what is left behind when the metaphorical water has receded.
